THE MIRACULOUS BLESSING

When you ask the Lord for a miracle in your life, what are you really asking for? You're asking God to take am impossible situation in your life and turn it around to a possible situation or a to make it into your high expectation. What you do not know is that there were many things in your life that were already well and perfect until you started making demands that invited the devil to steal, kill and destroy.
Job had a beautiful life, prayed well for all his children, made sacrifices for each of them simply because he'd thought they were living very reckless lives.

Job 1: 1-5
There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil. And there were born unto him seven sons and three daughters. His substance also was seven thousand sheep, and three thousand camels, and five hundred yoke of oxen, and five hundred she asses, and a very great household; so that this man was the greatest of all the men of the east. And his sons went and feasted in their houses, every one his day; and sent and called for their three sisters to eat and to drink with them. And it was so, when the days of their feasting were gone about, that Job sent and sanctified them, and rose up early in the morning, and offered burnt offerings according to the number of them all: for Job said, It may be that my sons have sinned, and cursed God in their hearts. Thus did Job continually.
Job secured everything he had, including his life, family, possession, business, and finances. He was in fear of losing any of those things God had blessed him with, Job looked up to God for more miracles, signs and wonder; he'd wanted to ascertain that God was always with him by offering sacrifices continually to secure all he had. Satan knew that the only way to put his faith at stake was to attack him and everything he ever sacrificed to God for. The moment the opportunity came, Satan struck job mercilessly.

In life, God uses what the devil meant for evil for a miraculous blessing. Job stayed in his sickness for a long time, his children whom he'd sacrificed goats and rams for in order to be right before God all died, all he ever labored for that he'd thought God was watching over were gone. What else was job living for? He was stripped of everything he ever had. He needed a miracle somehow, he remembered all he ever had and feared losing them; that was when he'd known that fear was evil and he should not have worried about losing them. God, however, took all that the devil meant for evil and turned it around for good. He took all that Job once had and was scared of losing to do the miraculous in Job's life.

The miracle most times is not getting married when everyone else was getting married, it is in getting married when you were written off as a perpetual bachelor or spinster. The miracle is not being born with a silver spoon and staying wealthy, the miracle is being raised from the ground and skyrocketed to the top where many would wonder about you. The miracle is not having what other have when they have It but having what you never expect to have when others are struggling to get it. The miracle is not getting pregnant the first time your husband slept with you or impregnating a woman the first time you made love  to her as your wife, but it's in having a child when God is done with the special child with a special assignment, knowing that everything needed for the children are well in place. Don't ask for a miracle when you're not really in need of a miracle; take what you have and be grateful to God for it. Your miracle most times comes from a repair of what was perfectly made but the devil came with his tempest and destroyed it because you asked for a miracle.

Miracles are for those who truly need a miracle; miracles are not for those that are well and complete. Miracles are not for those that are needless of the basics of life, they are for those genuinely lacking the basic needs of life and need help through life. Appreciate where you are because you're already a miracle.

Dealing with People - Four Categories of People

Romans 12:18 - If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.
The best way to deal with people is by understanding their role in your life. Believe it or not, you'll always meet new people, but you must understand that not everyone is a friend, not everyone is an enemy and not everyone has come to stay. The reason we fall out with people is because we do not understand their roles in our lives per season. God is in Heaven and works through men on Earth. Whenever God has a need to be met on earth, He doesn't leave His throne, He directs men to meet such needs.

Having the consciousness that the people you meet in life everyday have a specific roles to play and identifying who they are and their roles will always keep you above emotional breakdown when they leave you and also help you not to take offense when their assignment is over with you. Many tend to get offended when they are rejected, disappointed, and even fall out with once-upon-a-time good fellow.
From my little experience with people and my desire to be at peace with all men as commanded by God in Romans 12:18, I learnt from the Holy Spirit who is my senior Partner and the One who inspires me greatly, what I'm about to share with you.

DESTINY MOLDERS
1 Kings 19:19-20 - So Elijah went from there and found Elisha son of Shaphat. He was plowing with twelve yoke of oxen, and he himself was driving the twelfth pair. Elijah went up to him and threw his cloak around him. Elisha then left his oxen and ran after Elijah. "Let me kiss my father and mother goodbye," he said, "and then I will come with you." "Go back," Elijah replied. "What have I done to you?"
Some people are meant to help mold you into the man or woman God wants you to be. When they're done and their assignment completed with you, God moves you to the place He wants to use you. Don't try to stay with them longer than the time God planned for you, you'll no longer agree to anything and the longer you stay after their assignment is over with you, the more chaotic it gets with them, hard as you try. Whatever happens, however you are separated from them, never bear grudges against anyone.....they have simply acted the way God wanted them to. Just move on to the next level.

ONE ROLE AGENT
Genesis 24:40 - “He replied, ‘The Lord, before whom I have walked faithfully, will send his angel with you and make your journey a success, so that you can get a wife for my son from my own clan and from my father’s family.
Some have a specific role to play in your life and as soon as that role is played, God redirects them elsewhere so you can move on to the next level in life. Their role could be to link you with a business associate, lifetime partner, family member, friend, etc. They are just there to carry out one assignment. Once that specific assignment is met, trying to make them stay with you when God doesn't want them around you could be detrimental to your life's assignment. Let them go because trying to keep them around will make them a liability since they're no longer relevant to your mission.

GLORY SEEKERS
1 John 2:19 - They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.
Some people are meant to start with you and half way into the journey, leave you, because they do not belong with you. These set of people usually come disguised and uneasily identified; they may appear like lifetime agents but they're not . They can easily turn your heart away from God while you unconsciously start serving them. Their initial appearance in your life leaves you with the best feeling of "yes! I gat it"....or, "I can work with this person" or "They have come to help"..... don't be too quick to judge or credit anyone until after a while. This group of people will start off well with you until you start doing well, then envy, jealousy, bitterness, resentment becomes the only thing you get from them, especially when you do not give them the glory they seek or the credit they think they deserve. This are the toughest kind of people to deal with and usually, the best way to deal with them is to stay miles above them in knowledge and expect certain reaction from them before the time. Give it your best to stay as calm as possible and as silent as possible. Their character will keep them away from you at some point. They cannot hide their identity for too long. If you're unable to identify these people on time, you'll find yourself serving them instead of keeping your focus on God who raises one up and pulls another down. Most of them will voluntarily leave you, but you do not have to worry or chase after them, why? If they belonged with you, they wouldn't leave you. Trying to keep them or chase after them is like going to pick up a bottle of poison and drinking it, expecting not to die.

LIFETIME AGENTS
Ruth 1:16 - But Ruth replied, "Don't urge me to leave you or to turn back from you. Where you go I will go, and where you stay I will stay. Your people will be my people and your God my God.
Some are meant to start a journey with you or even join you half way into the journey, no matter how tough it gets, they will stay with your till the very end, because they are meant for you and are divinely sent by God to stay with you through thick and thin. Their zeal will easily expose what category of people they belong to. Unlike the one role agents, they have many roles to play in your life; these category of people are for keeps, you need not pursue them or go out of your way to please them to be with you. They even chase after you most times and are not easily offended, if they get offended they iron it out with you and continue as though nothing happened. They'll fight behind your back for you and stand up for you without you knowing. No matter what, they will walk the walk with you because they see your vision and trust in your God to bring the vision to fulfillment.
In conclusion, everyone you meet as you journey in life has a role to play in your life, you must however know when its time to let go and move on to the next level. Not everyone you know is designed by God to help you fulfill your destiny, some are spectators and cheerers, some are builders and molders, some are pillars. Identifying them from the on-set will help you stay at peace with everyone and keep your sanity.

Romans 12:18 - If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.

The Costly Cost of Power/Anointing

Many times, we are so ignorant of the things we ask God for that He intentionally refuses to grant our request, especially, when it's not time. The case of POWER or ANOINTING as in the day of Pentecost (Acts 2), is still very real but how many people can afford the cost of getting the power?

For some time now I've been meditating through the many experiences and challenges I've had on my journey to fulfilling my ministry and life's assignment, how much about our pain God knows yet shows you the future without pain and much glory, here on earth? It baffles me! This has led me to some of the findings that I'm about to share with someone who knows their life's assignment but are in doubt if truly God called them to it, because of the challenges they are faced with. The love of God is unfailing, the faithfulness of God never ceases, yet why would a loving God who has called you from nothing allow you go through the rigorous path of life in order to receive the promise.

Ever wondered why St Paul said, "That He wanted to know the sufferings of Jesus Christ" after he'd expressed his desire for power? Philippians 3:10.

I came to understand that Jesus being in the wilderness as led by the Holy Spirit to fast for forty days and forty nights, he did not return just by fasting and praying in the wilderness. The wilderness as a place is filled with ravenous beasts, wild and deadly animals, snakes and scorpions, even the master of in charge of darkness was there at the wilderness - SATAN.

Jesus had to face deadly beasts that threatened to take His life, Jesus had to face ravenous beasts that challenged his God, Jesus had to face snakes and scorpions in order to know how to deal with men in the outside world, Jesus had the face Satan in order to show that He was above him in all ramifications. Jesus faced all these while fasting and praying (without food), yet, endured it all, overcame them all and was endowed with power to face real life situations.

After asking God too many deafening questions about His presence with me in, He made me understand that Jesus went through the process, I will go through the process. Paul like other Apostles in the upper room went through the process, I will go through the process & you will go through the process. The deeper you go and endure, the more victorious you'll emerge.

You have a ministry to heal all manner of sicknesses and diseases and you think you'll be left with only a headache and not different sicknesses and diseases? When you scale through one, another beast comes, when you scale through that, another comes , then the power is released upon you to face real life's challenges with other people. Many think it's all in fasting and prayer, yes! Admittedly, there's a level of power that will be release upon you. The power we desire is in levels and it's totally on God to give you what you can handle for the purpose to which He called you.

Your ministry may be to make all men see the riches of Christ and you think you will not be faced with many trials and temptations that will make you focus on Jesus Christ and all that He did for you, so when you speak to all men, you speak from what you know for sure not what you know by head knowledge....Paul said, "And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom" - 1 Corinthians 2:4. This is to say that there are people who only preach from what they know by head knowledge not by experiencing the power of the Holy Spirit which is the major force that causes a man's faith to stand in Christ alone.

Listen, if you think you'll just lie down on your bed and study three chapters of the bible to receive power, think again! If you think the healing power of God will fall upon you like a garment so you can heal all manner of sicknesses and diseases without you facing some of these wild beasts, think again! If you think the power to preach about wealth and making others wealthy will just come on you without you experiencing poverty, my friend, don't plan to rob people, think again! If you think the work of God is something you can launch out to on your own without empowerment through diverse trials and temptations, they lied to you because they went through the back door or possibly do not know the truth, my friend, don't give up in your pain, sorrow, sickness, affliction, diverse temptations, poverty, difficulties, challenges, etc. Just know that God never fails and hasn't called you to suffering and shame but glory and honor. It will surely end in praise.

Recreating Your World

The world has already been created and you can agree with me that more than half the time we wish for a better world; you can have a better world, you can re-create your world but it doesn't happen by wishing. The world has already been created but it's totally up to you to re-create the world you desire, to re-create what you want from what already exists. Everything needed to re-create the kind of world you desire has already been made available, it's however your responsibility to search for relevant knowledge in the area where you desire change.

For example, growing up in a typical African culture, I was made to understand that marriage can only last if you'll endure rather than enjoy it as originally instituted by God. But as I came to the knowledge of God and was exposed to the riches of Christ, I saw marriage differently and knew for certain that I CAN HAVE AN ENJOYABLE AND ENVIABLE HOME. I made relevant searches and understood the secrets to a happy home.

Someone may have grown up in a poverty stricken home and never thinks he/she would make a better life from the already damaged foundation, but there is hope. Many a times, there are circumstances we meet that tend to leave an indelible impression about life that we do not bother to change those circumstances, ending up in mediocrity and eventually dying a reproach. The troubles of life are already enough to add more troubles and difficulties, because of ignorance and a purposeless life.

Life and recreating your world is all about taking the bull by the horn when you identify the "not-this-kind-of-world" that hides you in the cocoon of fulfillment, to re-recreate your dream world. However, there are radical steps to making that happen. God in Genesis 1 & 2, spent days re-creating the kind of dream world He'd wanted.

Genesis 1:1-2A
In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void.......

God saw the "not-this-kind-of-world" at the beginning, He could have chosen to bend down and cry His eyes out, but He took the picture of the kind of world He had in his mind, made use of existing persons and recreated the world He'd wanted to see. The Spirit was hovering over the waters as the Word (Jesus - John 1:1) was in God's mouth. As God spoke what He wanted to see, the Holy Spirit brought it to existence according to the Word spoken by God, for the mouth of the Lord gave the command and the Spirit gathers it.

Isaiah 34:16
For it is his mouth that has given the order, and his Spirit will gather them together.

In re-creating your world, you must understand that there are certain ingredients of power, also, radical steps needed to make it happen. Things don't just happen without the "behind-the-scene" forces combined together. To re-create your world, you need the below tips to empower you and propel you to your new world.

1.   BE FILLED WITH THE WORD OF GOD.

Just because you want to re-create your world doesn't mean that the world will give you what you desire on a platter of gold and feed you with a bowl of Ice-cream. Albert Einstein said, "Great spirits have always encountered violent opposition from mediocre minds." God was able to re-create His world, the kind He wanted because He is God; He has given you too the power to re-create your own world, making you a god by first creating you in his own image and likeness. But to exercise dominion as the god you are to recreate your world will not be activated until you fill yourself with the Word of God.

John 10:35
If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;

Study the Word day and night, feed on it continuously for your inheritance to be delivered to you. For the Word of God grew mightily and prevailed in the City of Ephesus, the Word of God can also grow and prevail in your life if you let it. Acts 10:32 "And now I commend you to God and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up and to give you the inheritance among all those who are sanctified. You will counter and demolish any and every violence opposing you from re-creating your own world.

2. POWER THROUGH BELIEVE
 Romans 1:16
For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
The word of God when believed, is converted into power that creates your desired results. Locate where it is written in the Word, believe it because the Word of God never fails and when you find it, there shall be a reward. Proverbs 24:14 So shall the knowledge of wisdom be unto thy soul: when thou hast found it, then there shall be a reward, and thy expectation shall not be cut off.

3. DESIRE A CHANGE AND BE DESPERATE ABOUT IT
One of the factors that propel me to accomplish more and re-create my dream world is DESIRE. Whatever you do not desire will never happen for you. Many have lost very beautiful opportunities because they lacked the desire needed to make things happen. If you want a beautiful marriage, desire a beautiful marriage and work towards self change; if your desire more money in the future, make relevant investments today and acquire relevant knowledge; if you desire a conglomerate, friend, it is possible, just sit and plan. Everything visible is made possible because of desperate desire.

4. DREAM YOUR NEW WORLD
Genesis 13:15
For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever.

What you do not see in your mind can never be achieved. To create your desired haven, you must first see what you desire, otherwise, anything and anyone can stop you or even present to you a world of no value and you'll settle for it. Nothing or no one can stop a man or woman who has a mental picture of where they are going or where they want to be - Genesis 11:6. Until you see the invisible, you can't do the impossible.

5. EQUIP YOURSELF FOR CHANGE
Hebrews 13:7
Remember your leaders, who spoke the word of God to you. Consider the outcome of their way of life and imitate their faith.
You may desire it, dream it or even speak it, but if you do not acquire necessary knowledge in the field you want to venture into, you will struggle through it. Listen, you need those who have climbed the ladder ahead of you and have successfully made it to the top to share with you their experiences on how they made it to the top. God had to work with the people available, talking about Jesus (the Word) and the Holy Spirit who hovered over the surface of the waters. You need people who know how, to help you carry out your vision.

6. LAUNCH OUT
Zachariah 4:10
Do not despise these small beginnings, for the LORD rejoices to see the work begin, to see the plumb line in Zerubbabel's hand." (The seven lamps represent the eyes of the LORD that search all around the world.)
Until a force is applied to an object, it maintains a state of rest. You cannot re-create your dream world by just sitting and wishing. Get moving! You have all that you need to make your dream a reality, take a bold step and start somewhere. You are the only one that would motivate yourself to launch out, others will join you as times goes on. It doesn't matter how small you start, just start....God rejoices to see the work begin. The beginning may be small but just begin.

7. THE FORCE OF DILIGENCE
Proverbs 22:29
Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men.

You need to be diligent till your vision is fulfilled. Just have one thing in mind, "if I could see it, then it's accomplishable" It can be accomplished only if I remain diligent against all odds. Diligence is not easy especially when you experience the opposite of your dreams. Joseph was diligent in following God until his dreams were fulfilled despite what was done to him by his brother, Potiphar's wife, and even the man who forgot him in prison. Many times, we tend to look at the odds as we pursue our dreams, forgetting that the negativities and troubles are there as stepping stones to take you higher, the difficulties are there as sling to project you to your dream world. Do not be cognizant of the fact that falling or failing is inevitable in your pursuit of vision, when you fall, rise and keep moving forward, only take the lesson with you so you do not fall again.

Not Altar Bound But Hell Bound! (Relationship Red Flags)

FOR ALL THE SINGLE GENTS & LADIES - There's a process to getting the best things, even marriage; the best things are not cheap and do not come by easily. Like attracts like in the law of marriage, if it must work; vision for vision, direction for direction, and heart for heart. The institution of marriage can only be travelled on with all pleasure and excitement, despite its rigors,  if you get it right from the beginning and end up with the right person. No matter how expensive your building materials are, once the foundation is faulty, your edifice will come crashing at the slightest provocation.

Wisdom is proven by her children; I'm not a relationship expert but through divine inspiration and counseling young men and women in the USA, UK and all over Europe, on certain relationship issues that have led to tears, heartbreak, and ultimately insecurity. I'm led to put my pen to parchment to point out some mistakes bachelors and spinsters make that eventually backfire after the wedding and marriage begins. You can either avoid these common mistakes, correct them and live happily ever after or just ignore these red flags and walk into marriage.....I can only guarantee you two things....endless tears and unfulfilment.

1. True love doesn't cost a thing. If you buy love from the beginning, get ready to pay your way through out the relationship; if you were bought into e relationship with money and gifts, you'll only sty in that relationship as long as the money flows. If you got it with your money, you can only keep it with your money. If you think you can stop maintaining it without money, you're just about to lose him/her to another person who is ready to spend to buy love.

2. Gentleman, you're the head of the woman; the woman is only your help meet. Just because she makes more money than you do does not make her the head. So, keep your dignity by leading her with your dollar bill while she SUPPORTS you with her million dollars. How you carry yourself with the dollar in your pocket determines how she'll respect you with the million she has to support you. If you make more than she does, better!

3. Dear woman, you are a help meet, only to the man that puts a ring on your finger and takes you to the altar - not a help meet to every Tom, Anderson and Harry. Whatever God gives you, keep it for that one who is bold enough and approved by God to be your husband. There are gold-diggers and there are husbands, the difference is in the motive.

4. He says, "we're adults, lets come to a mutual agreement on sex", that's a no-no! Tell him, "we're adults and the only agreement we can ever reach is to wait till we're married", if he persists, show him the door.....Most times, they hit many pillars and come back looking for that one that insisted on wedding before sex. If the hedge is broken, the serpent will bite. Get it right! Sex does not guarantee marriage.

5. The only reason you're permitted to be in a relationship with someone who doesn't know where he/she is going, is if you do not know where you're going. Do not be unequally yoked with a man or woman who isn't going your direction; the yoke is to keep the couple heading towards the same direction. I'll leave you to imagine what will happen to two animals with a yoke on their necks trying to go on different directions.

6. Tell a lie to win a heart and you'll lose that heart as quickly as you won it. A lie in a relationship is enough to break a long standing relationship. Let truth be your watch word in life and you'll naturally speak the truth in your relationship.

7. Make no mistake about this, the way you present yourself to others determines how you'll be treated by them. Carry yourself with pride and dignity, you'll be treated with respect and honor; give yourself cheaply with all your worth and you'll be treated dishonorably and disrespected.

8. Just because you're looking for your missing rib and whose missing rib you are does not mean you should try anything that looks like a bone. You'll know who your missing rib is and whose rib you are when you relate. Like attracts like....listen to him or her with your ears, think about what you heard from him or her with your mind, and check everything through a heart to heart talk with God.

9. If he or she sneaks around with you from the start, trust me, he or she will sneak around with another. If he's not bold enough to make known to those around him, his relationship with you (and vice versa), you do not have any business being together. You need to run, I mean, run without looking back. No excuses, no long stories, one of you is fooling the other.

10. If you trust God, you'll make no haste. Gentleman, relax! Lady, take it easy! You're both headed for a LIFETIME relationship. If he's rushing things without settling to know each other, hmmm.....check it! If she's in a hurry because her "biological" clock is ticking, calm her down. If you both waited that long before you met, trust me, 6months, I year or even 15 months is not too much to get to know yourselves. The highest number of marriages that ended in divorce was because they did not get to know how compatible they were before they tied the knot.

11. What makes a bad person is not that they do not have any good in them, it's just that the bad outweighs the good. Beware of exciting beginnings, don't ever get carried away. Everyone is good, and also have some bad sides. Most times you see people in their best especially at the beginning of a relationship . Make them show you their bad side.....they can't hide it for too long.

12. Your reason for starting a relationship shouldn't just be to have a companion (it's part of it), but set your priorities right. Discover yourself first before trying to discover another. As a lady, having discovered yourself, be wise enough to say yes to the one who's truly going your direction - not disguised. That way, you'll easily submit.

13. Any relationship void of God is as good as non-existent. A successful marriage is a triangular relationship between God, the Man and the Woman. The man checks with God before dealing with the woman, the woman checks with God before dealing with the man. Avoid the temptation of checking first with another man or woman before dealing with your intended spouse. If you start with God, you can be sure of success in marriage with God.

14. If he or she disrespects you from the on-set, you can hardly change them to do any better when you get married. Don't think with your heart, think with your head; thoughts from the heart can be very deceptive, thoughts from the head are more realistic. The heart does not want to get hurt so it thinks only thoughts that provide temporary comfort, with permanent sorrow and regrets reserved for later.

15. The question about you getting married even at 50 (as a lady), is answered in the positive; that shouldn't scare you. What you should focus on and labor for is getting it right from the beginning. Learn from other people's mistakes, have a mind of your own (a mind influenced by God), ask questions when you're clueless.

I pray for you today, you will not make the wrong choice in marriage. May God grant you the patience you need to wait for that right partner that will give you peace and help you fulfill your destiny. May He give you wisdom to discern between the real and unreal, the right one form the "perfect" one. I desire to see you end well and I pray that God helps you end well.

Challenge Convention (Tradition Breaker)

Having carefully observed the lies and empty tradition passed to this generation by our earthly ancestors (those that lived before us), and some of our parents and of course, the society; a trend many people ignorantly follow and have passed down to their children, I can boldly say that man’s travail and agony are vastly connected to these pathetic and ignominious man-made rules. I came to a sound conclusion that limitation, failure, struggles, mediocrity and lack of accomplishment will come to an end if someone will rise up and challenge convention, instead of living by man-made rules that served the purpose at the time they were needed. It takes only the brave hearts, sound minds and enlightened spirits to accept and act on this in order to effect the desired change in this time and generation.

Colossians 2:8
See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the elemental spiritual forces of this world rather than on Christ.

No one ever emerged better and glorious without taking what had been, tweaking it here and there or even rejecting every existing philosophy arising from the tradition of men; for there to be an effective change in anyone’s life, the yoke to tradition has to be completely broken. There are spiritual forces that go into active mode the moment you buy into the deceptive philosophy and begin to operate in it. Many are at a cross-road today because they followed after the laws made by men, some are frustrated because they got so lost in their culture that they failed to looked deeply to see the hidden hooks in following after these norms and beliefs, while many have remained unaccomplished because of tradition, many have died as a result of ignorantly following in the footsteps of their fathers. Ever wondered why it is called “deceptive” philosophy? Because it is void of truth, it lacks integrity.

Romans 12:2 (NIV)
Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is--his good, pleasing and perfect will.

Is there any wisdom in following a trend that never really brought peace and stability to those who diligently followed? Conformity with the world and its standard will keep you out of God’s will and you live a life that is totally unacceptable, a life of reproach, and the kind of life where everything appears wrong. Can any equipment function effectively, to its highest degree of functionality outside of the manufacturer’s original intent? Can I wash my clothes in a dishwasher? Can I use the manual for a dishwasher to operate my cloth washing machine? Not only will I damage the product if I did, I’ll also be using losing so much money trying to fix it.

Your ability to challenge convention and break free from the deceptive tradition that has crippled many destinies and have affected many marriages, businesses, men and women, depends strongly on the level of God’s word you know, believe and act upon. Man’s travail cannot stop outside of God’s rules and principles.  If God created you, then, it takes the truth of God’s Word to break from the lies and empty inheritance our ancestors left us. The deceptive philosophy lacks truth and integrity, leaving its victim stagnated and unaccomplished, while, God’s principles are truth and carry so much integrity such that it cannot fail to deliver to you your glorious inheritance and guide you to greater accomplishments.

Mark 12:24
Jesus replied, "Are you not in error because you do not know the Scriptures or the power of God?

So if an erroneous life is a s a result of lack of knowledge of the scriptures, then, a right living will be as a result of knowing the word of God concerning any situation, the more of His word you know and believe, the greater power is released to you for exploit. A certain young lady of about 17 years (2014), by the name Jekalyn Carr, an Evangelist and a Gospel singer was criticized by some who have lost their lives to tradition and the deceit therein, being considered a young girl, single, etc., they concluded that she could not lead because she was only a child, she could not evangelize because she is a woman and women are meant to be quiet in the church, she could not do this nor that. Wow! Did the bible In Isaiah 11 and 2 Kings 22 not talk about little children leading and Josiah being a king at the age of 8 years? Did the bible not say that in the last days, the Spirit of God would be poured out on your sons and “daughters” to minister? (Paraphrased by me). If Jekalyn had given in to tradition and societal beliefs, she wouldn’t have been fulfilling her destiny. But she knew the word; she knew her God and she broke free from tradition.
Many are unfulfilled today and dying silently because they lack the courage to speak up and break free to be better persons.  The power of God can make anything happen for you if only you’ll break free.

It’s time for this generation to rise up and take back all that tradition stole from them, break free from empty philosophy that only cage them and leave them in bondage and begin to walk In total freedom and rulership. To rule, change your mind-set, to dominate brace yourself up to fight for your rightful inheritance and to effect change in your life, break free from tradition and societal limitations through false beliefs. Challenge convention to get to your destination.

Hibernate For A Flight Like The Eagle - 2

(Please take time to read "Hibernate for a flight like the Eagle - 1)

Isaiah 60:8
Who are these that fly as a cloud, and as the doves to their windows?

Your smooth flight is as a result of the the level of light you have and your preparedness before flight; just like the Eagle, you need to hide yourself from time to time in order to emerge more colorful and fly higher than you already do.

Isaiah 45:15
Verily thou art a God that hidest thyself, O God of Israel, the Saviour .

1 Samuel 19
David hid himself from Saul and kept building himself for his purpose.

Failure does have an adverse effect on the human mind; it traumatizes its victim, leaving its victim emotionally handicapped. Failure is a situation that either launches you into your destiny or leaves you in the dungeon of depression and unaccomplishment, depending on how you view it. Everyone at some point will certainly fail, fail not to remain a failure but to hibernate for a higher flight and greater accomplishments.

Proverbs 24:16
The godly may trip seven times, but they will get up again. But one disaster is enough to overthrow the wicked.

There is time for everything, and that includes a time to build up for a higher flight. It is impossible to make a difference in life  and rising to a higher level without hiding yourself to build up. God's design for failure is that each time you fall, you hide yourself to come up higher and shine more gloriously in your field of endeavor. It takes a man or woman of great courage to emerge stronger after a period of set back and darkness, but its accomplishment is in hibernating and getting enlightened in your area of endeavor. Those who emerge high flyers are those who transcend the limitations posed on them by the society, looking past the oppositions and seeing into the future; those who invest their time in acquiring more knowledge, building their strength in the Lord, acquainting themselves with those who have excelled in their area of endeavor. It is certainly not for those who resign to the norms and beliefs of the society or those who spend their time and energy on low-minds, mockers and emotionally dysfunctional people who abhor success by their deeds and utterances.

It is much easier to stop where you experience difficulty after a little or no accomplishment, perhaps turn back and return to zero level, than it is to keep the courage and stay away from the many activities that suck up the little strength you have left and hide yourself to launch forward. As much as God is determined to see you to the end which is always more glorious than when you began, the devil and anti-success forces keep reinforcing different devises to stop you; it is expedient that you keep the focus regardless of the challenges you face and keep building up in order to emerge better and soar higher. When the enemy strikes, it is not because you are not doing something right, it is only a channel through which God brings you to the point where you'll be alone with Him and acquire more strength for a beautiful flight.

Philippians 3:12-13
12 Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.

13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before.

Those who desire to make history or leave a mark in the sands of time never get satisfied with their accomplishments, they push forward as though they have never tasted success. They take their minds off their accomplishments knowing that they can do better; they build a solid foundation with the stones thrown at them to stop and discourage them, knowing that, like the Eagle, they need a rock to take off for a higher flight. God wants His creatures to get better and end up more glorious than when they first started, His will is for us to shine in this world and reveal his glory wherever he plants us.

Isaiah 60:17
For brass I will bring gold, and for iron I will bring silver, and for wood brass, and for stones iron.....

God would never make a promise that He cannot keep; It is left for that one who desires to walk in the glory made available by God to get enlightened and work hard enough to radiate the glory of God. Let me reiterate, your smooth flight is as a result of the the level of light you have and your preparedness before flight. The more light you have, the brighter you shine, the more strength you acquire by virtue of the knowledge you have about God, the higher you fly. Never let failure impair your movement to the next level, never let one moment of darkness prevent you from trying again.

Isaiah 9:10
The bricks are fallen down, but we will build with hewn stones: the sycomores are cut down, but we will change them into cedars.

Looking beyond your present situation and seeing the possibility of a more beautiful end gives you a fresh drive to accomplish what you see. The bricks are fallen down........but....will be built with hewn stone, hewn stones are stronger and of better quality to build with; cedars appear stronger and more beautiful than sycamores. Your enviable flight begins within the mind; those who have the mind-set to look past the challenges, the stumbling blocks, etc., eventually make it to their glorious destination. Challenges for some people serve as catalysts that catapult them to their destiny, while for some it serves as an excuse to remain on one spot, even if it means being a failure. Stay courageous, stay focused and you'll inevitably reach your glorious destination.

A Bend Is Not An End!

One of the most important lessons I've learnt in life is, knowing that anyone heading somewhere significant, purposefully, etc., will always encounter great opposition from mediocre minds. Talk about the inevitable crisis of life for those who know where they're headed; few of them overcome and get to their destination, gaining so much along the way.

Wisdom doesn't come overnight, neither does success come over night. Show me a man or woman who walks in the wisdom of God and I'll show you one who's being through the crisis of life and came out successfully. Success on the other hand is not attained without struggles and failures; those who attain success in the right way will attest to their countless road bends and turns, failures and moments of total hopelessness. I'll say this, never mistaken a bend on the road for the end of your journey.

Proverbs 24:15-1615 Do not lie in wait, O wicked man, against the dwelling of the righteous. Do not plunder his resting place;16 For a righteous man may fall seven times And rise again, But the wicked shall fall by calamity.

God never promises that you'll not fall in your righteous walk, He never promises that you'll not fail, what He says is that though you fall, you'll rise again, though you fail, He'll uphold you such that you do not fall beyond the limit you can take. A righteous man may encounter failure, but by the and of the Almighty God, he rises again.

For every journey, there will be bends on the road; many see these bends as the end of the journey. A bend is that point in your life when something you're used to comes to an end and a new venture is about to be introduced to you.
Anything can happen at a bend; there could be destiny accident, strange disappointment, failure, confusion at cross-roads, hopelessness at the absence of a clear road, etc. This is that point where many encounter opposition, meet with great obstacles, are attacked by anti-destiny forces and are met with difficulties that prevent them from moving on. One life's important lesson i learnt on my journey so far is that the only one that can stop you on your journey in life is YOU. Even if the devil uses these forces, he'll need your permission to carry them out.

When you're faced with a bend on the road, what do you do? Stay calm and say to yourself, all things work together for good to them that love God. In business, you may have taken a wrong decision, in marriage made a mistake, or in your field of study answered a few seemingly correct answers but you failed that class; does that make you a failure? No! One great thing about life is that life affords us many chances to correct our mistakes, it may not be in the same place where you're greatly opposed, it may not be the same business venture, it may not be the same marriage, but you'll be given a better chance and another opportunity to be successful......you're still moving to your destination.

Romans 8:2828 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

ALL things work together for good....all things, meaning, failure is working for your good, disappointment is working for your good, hatred is working for your good, persecution is working for your good, bankruptcy is working for your good, sickness and diseases are working for your good, strange disappointment is working for your good. Everything you encounter in life is not strange to God, He knows the way that you take and when He's done trying you, He'll bring you to the place He has prepared for you. Just keep calm at the bend and know what God is saying to you. Remember, all things are not working for the good of those who do not love God and without purpose. Locate your purpose, love God with all your heart and stay most connected to Him, even when it's darkest.

Man's difficulty I've learnt is always associated with His purpose. Most times, people give up when they're faced with crisis, but the womb of your success is the crisis. Success in life is not for those who have no faults, who have never fallen, who have never made mistakes, who have never been betrayed, back-stabbed, heartbroken, strangely disappointed, etc., these are the ugly components of success that people never talk about. Sadly, many pursue success expecting it to be all rosy, giving up when  they meet with oppositions.

God is looking for "die-hards", people that are willing to go all the way for His Kingdom, regardless of what the enemy throws at them. You can never miss it with God, you can never fail with God, you can never be grounded with God. When there's a bend on the road, it's important that you remain calm and know what God is saying and where he's leading you.

1 Kings 17 - Elijah was a man with a great destiny. Being prepared for a particular assignment, first God sent him to the brook Cherith where he was fed by ravens morning and night. But the brook dried up. Did that stop Elijah from continuing on his journey? He looked up to God who knew the source of that dryness and he also knew that he could not be grounded with God. HE was calm to hear God lead him to the next place of training and fulfillment of his destiny. Elijah was told to move on the the widow....... To make an impact in life, you'll have to follow the process and trust me, it is not the easiest.

For any man or woman of purpose, what people regard as failure or a closed door, they look at as a passing phase, a stepping stone and keep moving. Their purpose is paramount to any form of limitation, opposition and failure. They are pushed by their purpose, they keep moving regardless of the level of crisis thrown their way. If God is in it with you, it may seem that the enemy has the upper hand, it may seem that the plan of the wicked have prevailed, it many seem that your life has been shut down, but believe me, it's only the beginning of great things if you do not give up. Only stay connected to Jesus Christ. He's no respecter of persons, He's the beginning and the end, the author and finisher of our faith, One whose plan and purpose can never be thwarted. Just keep calm for His voice and direction. You cannot miss it at that bend.

A bend at the road is a period to slow down, get over the battles from the previous places you've been, gather your experiences, get a new attitude, get more creative and keep moving. You're headed to a new place, a place prepared for you to reveal the glory of God. Hold on firmly to God alone in your crisis, hold on firmly to the faith founded on Jesus Christ alone and you'll surely get to your end with much celebration, success and wisdom.

Your life remains down only if you want it to, it remains a failure if you stay down. The only one that can keep you down and out is YOU.

Psalm 145:14

14 The Lord upholds all who fall,And raises up all who are bowed down.

As long as you're with God and God is with you, never say never. Don't stop moving. Just look and see how God will take advantage of whatever the enemy throws at you and turn it around for His own glory. God is that Faithful, Loving and True.

Hibernate For A Flight Like The Eagle - 1

Ever wondered why the Eagle is one bird that soars the highest and does not struggle in flight? As I carefully studied the Isaiah 40:31, I realized that man's enviable flight depends on the level of light, the power of God the Holy Spirit.

Isaiah 40:1
But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

The wings of the Eagle and how far they soar depend solely on the wind. The Eagle never sets out until it feels the wind thermal. Many times, you find the Eagle hibernating in order to regain its strength, build itself, ascertain the next line of action, wait for the wind thermal, before setting out. The stronger the wind, the higher they fly and the lesser they struggle flapping their wings (they only soar).
That brings me to the conclusion that, those who wait upon the Lord before they take any action are set up for undeniable success and a colorful destiny. Man's struggle is linked to his knowledge of himself and his ability to do anything he deems fit. Jesus said;

“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing - John 15:5

We are in the era of the Holy Spirit, who is ever ready to speak to us and direct us on what to do in our endeavor. His presence is undeniable, so also the effect of his leading. What you'll usually accomplish in 10 years with much struggles, the Holy Spirit will work with you to achieve in less than 10 years, without struggles; when I say without struggles, it only means that you'll have to yield to the Holy Spirit to make it a lot easier. The Eagle spirit is such that yields its power, ability and all, to the wind; if you will take a flight like the eagle, it's time for you to hibernate, re-evaluate yourself, your life and your vision, then wait for the leading of the Holy Spirit.

A couple of months ago, I watched a group of people get into a fierce argument that seemed impossible to resolve, no one wanted to yield for the other, no one was ready to let go without getting to the bottom of the case; as they dug deeper, more people were roped in and they all spoke with so much emotion that I could see them being torn apart if anyone didn't intervene. Though I read all their comments, I could not say a word because I was incomplete and incapable without the Holy Spirit. Two weeks passed, the case was still on and getting even fiercer. After worship service one Sunday, as I was driving home, I spoke with one of them who'd wanted me to say something about the situation, but I responded, "I have nothing to say, except the Holy Spirit tells me what to do and say". Hours passed that same day, and at just the right time, the Holy Spirit told me what to do. Before I spoke to all of them, I had contacted the two main people that were at the center of the case - heard their sides of the story. Instantly, the Holy Spirit helped me understand the source of the problem. As much as those involved in the rift were much older than me, I knew the truth, I had a witness within me, and I had to speak the truth regardless of what they'll think - I got the wisdom from the Holy Spirit. Finally, I commented in the most loving way, in a way they had never known me, firm but gentle. One after the other, the Holy Spirit pointed out the one who had the fire and gas. They did not understand where that wisdom and maturity came from, but I understood that I could never have settled it without the Holy Spirit. No one was bitter, no one complained any further and the case was closed in peace. That is what the Holy Spirit can do!

Many times, we try to take care of situations that are obviously bigger than us. We try to establish an empire that requires the wisdom of the Holy Spirit to lay the foundation and erect; we try to start a ministry and run it by our own strength, we try to counsel people using our own wisdom; we try to make marital decision based on what we see and think should be; we choose and pick places of worship by the size of the building and congregation or the number of family and friends that are there; many have resolved to making God the Holy Spirit their last resort. Think about it this way, if you had five stones to take down a prey, would you rather throw all fives stones by your strength and still miss your target, however easy it may appear; or would you rather depend on God who has what it takes to make you hit the target once, after taking you through some trainings and seasons of preparation (hibernation)? Think also about this, have you ever seen a car which was not powered that moved without jerking and much struggle?

The Eagle takes up new wings while they hibernate, to enable them soar higher whenever the wind thermal comes. The Holy Spirit knows when you have adequately prepared yourself for a task and comes at the right time to empower you for an enviable result. The Apostle in the book of Acts 1& 2, always met at the upper room to pray as they waited on God for the promise (hibernating). After their preparation was complete, the Holy Spirit came on them that souls were won in thousands. Peter not only preached the Word, he demonstrated the power behind the spoken word, halleluiah!!! The presence of the Holy Spirit is evident by the results.

Quit struggling to get things done because you think time is far spent and you're behind, yet, you have nothing to show for your struggles. Quit leaning on your strength and capability, they can't take you far, quit trying to make new inventions the same way after several times of failing. It's time to hibernate - take invention and find out better ways to make life more beautiful and admirable. If you need to go back to school to get a better degree, do it as you wait on the Lord; if you need to take marriage counsel for you to become a better partner for your husband or wife, go ahead and depend on the Holy Spirit to make your marriage the sweetest; if you need  to go take courses and attend seminars for your business to grow and attract more client, do it as you depend on the Holy Spirit to tell you when to carry out what you know. In all, we all need the power of the Holy Spirit to get us to that place of glory, irrespective of our preparation.

Success is not guaranteed until you completely yield to the power behind success. Deuteronomy 8:18 - Remember the LORD your God. He is the one who gives you power to be successful.....(NLT). Know this, if it's worth doing, it should be glorious; if it will be glorious, then, it's worth waiting upon God the Holy spirit. Eagles are always associated with the sky as the highest level of flight, so also, the man and woman who hibernates as they wait upon the Lord.

The Force of Confidence

To be called and to be sent are two distinct things. To have a vision is one thing and to materialize that vision is another thing. Only very few people actually make it to a successful end after having the valley experiences of life.

One of the most needed factors in making it to a successful end in your endeavors, be it in your ministry, business, career, marriage, Christian faith, etc., is confidence. Confidence in simple English, is complete trust in a person or thing. Confidence places you on the pedestal, gives you strength to stand in the face of any kind of opposition, empowers you to keep your peace even in the storm, enables you to do the impossible. The stronger your confidence, the farther you'll go in life and accomplish great exploit.

For Christians, the only way to live a successful and abundant life, as destined by God through Jesus Christ, is to put your confidence in the one that He sent - Jesus Christ. Isaiah 26:3 You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you! The issue of confidence is often times not discussed amongst christians because many do not acknowledge its importance, as such, our adversary, the devil, prowls about stealing the confidence that God's children have in God that should lead them through the bumpy paths of life.

The first subtle device the devil used against man was geared towards confidence; the devil crept in by attacking the confidence of the first woman, by asking, "Did God really say"? Genesis 3:1 Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the Lord God had made. He said to the woman, “Did God really say, ‘You must not eat from any tree in the garden’?” He knows that once he asks that question, the listener, who doesn't know his tactics or wiles, would become vulnerable and give in to his demands. This is one of the greatest weapons that the devil uses against the children of God, to move them away from their glorious inheritance in Christ Jesus, the inheriatnce that God prepared for His own even before they were born.

This is pathetic because many believers are ignorant of the devices of the enemy, for this reason, they fall cheaply for his manipulations and find themselves exactly where the devil wants them. When your confidence is withdrawn, whether your vision for ministry, church expansion, business expansion, career advancement, marital bliss, good health, financial breakthrough, spiritual growth, kingdom prosperity, etc., everything you've ever built or thought of building or owning will come crashing.

Christians especially, have a glorious inheritance which God prepared before time, to be delivered to us through His Word, but the inner voice that whispers negative questions, chokes out the confidence that positions us for breakthrough. Acts 20:32 And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified. This inheritance is the fullness of life that Jesus came into the world to give to us, through his death on the cross - John 10:10b (NLT) My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.

Shamefully and ignorantly, many that should be ruling as kings and priests by the death of Jesus Christ (Revelation 5:9-10), have been misled by the agents of darkness to renounce their faith and divert their confidence to the adversary; our adversary never stops working through our most trusted friends, neighbors, family members, children, parents, relatives, colleagues, TV shows and movies, etc., to take our confidence and stop us from possessing our inheritance. If the enemy tries to lure you into ungodly habits or unholy conducts that will take the presence of God from you, and you do not succumb, the next thing he does is, attack your confidence in God. Isaiah 36:4 & 8 And Rabshakeh said unto them, say now to Hezekiah, Thus says the great king, the king of Assyria, What confidence is this in which you trust? 8"I'll tell you what! Strike a bargain with my master, the king of Assyria. I will give you 2,000 horses if you can find that many men to ride on them!

It is expedient that you daily build your confidence in the Lord, and not allow the devil/enemy steal your confidence, thereby, robbing you of your throne and glorious destiny. There are three major ways to build a strong confidence that will not only light up your path to a glorious destiny, but will empower you to work through that path, however rough, until you get to your glorious destination.

1. Source: Your source of confidence determines the degree of exploit you'll command on earth. Daniel had his source in God alone and was empowered to stand on his faith, even unto death, Daniel 6. The three Hebrew boys, Shedrach , Meshach and Abednego were thrown into the fiery furnace (the highest degree), but their source of confidence kept them even in the fire, Daniel 3. The Word of God pronounces the end of those whose source is man or anything created by the God, they are indeed cursed and their end is failure and destruction. But the bible calls them blessed who trust completely in God and will prosper in uncommon places, in their time and season , Jeremiah 17:5-8; Isaiah 36:4-10.

2. Knowledge of God: To have confidence in anyone, you must first know him well enough to naturally trust him. If you have chosen God as your only source (the best decision you can ever make), the degree of exploit you will command depends on your level of knowledge about Him. Daniel 11:32 And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits. If you know and believe His word concerning any situation in your life, it gives you confidence to command it into existence. If you know what God has said to you personally, through your dreams, visions, his prophets, audible voice of the Holy Spirit, etc., hold on to it and work with it. These are several ways through which God speaks to us and builds our confidence in Him.

3. Focus: You confidence is increased when you keep your eyes on God alone without wavering, you are set on a pedestal that will establish your generation. 1 Kings 18:21 Then Elijah stood in front of them and said, "How much longer will you waver, hobbling between two opinions? If the LORD is God, follow him! But if Baal is God, then follow him!" But the people were completely silent. There are many today who claim to love God but are not confident enough to say it or stand with him, so the devil feasts on their destinies. They are looking to God for help and publicly "serving" him, but on the other hand, they're looking to man and the things created by human hands for help, just incase God fails......how terrible! For how long are you going to keep looking between two opinions? Jesus Christ said to His disciples, the light of the body is the eye: if therefore your eye be single, your whole body shall be full of light, Matthew 6:22. If your focus is solely on God, you'll be filled with enough confidence that will get you to your place of rulership and dominion; your place of rest.

When people pf the world waver between two options, Christians are not permitted to do the same. I announce to you, according to the word of God (Acts 4:12), that Salvation comes from no one else, except Jesus Christ; only those who truly want to be blessed by the Lord and live successful lives put their trust in him.
